WFDP Academy may cooperate with educational institutions, universities, public institutions, international and regional organizations, civil society organizations, companies, professional bodies, training providers and other qualified partners to expand access to education, professional development and capacity-building opportunities.
This policy establishes general principles governing institutional cooperation and jointly supported programs delivered through or in association with WFDP Academy.
WFDP Academy may establish partnerships to support activities including:
Specific activities remain subject to the applicable agreement, program approval or implementation arrangement.
An organization may be described as an official WFDP Academy partner only where an appropriate cooperation arrangement has been authorized by WFDP Academy.
Informal discussions, correspondence, participation in an event or submission of a partnership proposal do not by themselves establish an official partnership.
The nature and scope of each relationship are determined by the applicable agreement or written authorization.
Programs implemented with a partner may be subject to a specific implementation plan, program document, agreement or other approved arrangement.
Such arrangements may establish matters including:
Programs associated with WFDP Academy should meet appropriate standards of educational quality, professional relevance and institutional integrity.
WFDP Academy may review proposed courses, instructors, learning materials, assessments and certification arrangements before authorizing their use through the Academy.
The Academy may request amendments where necessary to maintain appropriate quality or institutional standards.
Participation by a partner in a WFDP Academy program does not automatically authorize that partner to issue certificates using the WFDP Academy name or identity.
The format, issuance, signatures, branding and verification of certificates associated with joint programs must follow the applicable approved arrangement.
WFDP Academy certificates and credentials remain subject to the Certificate & Credential Policy.
A partnership, Memorandum of Understanding, cooperation agreement or joint educational activity does not by itself constitute governmental accreditation, academic accreditation or authorization to award a regulated academic qualification.
Partners must not represent a cooperative relationship with WFDP Academy as providing accreditation, governmental recognition, degree-awarding authority or professional licensing unless such status has been expressly established through the appropriate competent authority or applicable instrument.
The WFDP Academy name, logo and other institutional branding may be used by a partner only within the scope of appropriate authorization.
Partners must not use WFDP Academy branding to advertise unauthorized programs, issue unauthorized certificates, solicit funds or imply endorsement of unrelated activities.
Where required, promotional materials relating to a joint program may be subject to prior review or approval.
Public statements concerning institutional cooperation should accurately reflect the nature and scope of the relationship.
Neither party should announce commitments, programs, accreditation, funding or institutional authority beyond what has actually been agreed.
Where appropriate, significant joint communications may be coordinated between the participating institutions.
A partnership or cooperation arrangement does not automatically create a financial obligation for WFDP Academy or any participating institution.
Any funding, fees, revenue-sharing arrangements, sponsorship, expenses or other financial commitments must be expressly established through the applicable agreement or other authorized arrangement.
No partner may incur financial obligations on behalf of WFDP Academy without appropriate authorization.
Partners involved in delivering WFDP Academy programs are expected to support a safe, respectful and professional learning environment.
Program implementation should respect applicable Academy requirements concerning academic integrity, learner conduct, privacy, accessibility, safeguarding and credential integrity.
Partners must appropriately protect personal information and confidential information obtained through institutional cooperation.
Access to learner information should be limited to legitimate educational, administrative or program purposes and handled according to applicable agreements, policies and legal requirements.
Ownership and permitted use of educational materials, research, branding and other intellectual property developed or used through a partnership may be determined by the relevant agreement.
Unless otherwise authorized, participation in a partnership does not transfer ownership of WFDP Academy intellectual property to another party.
WFDP Academy may monitor or review programs conducted under its name or through its learning platform to help maintain educational and institutional standards.
Partners may be requested to provide reasonable information concerning implementation, participation, outcomes or compliance with agreed program requirements.
WFDP Academy may suspend or discontinue its association with a program or partner where serious concerns arise regarding quality, misrepresentation, misuse of branding, credential integrity, learner protection, legal compliance or other material obligations.
The rights and responsibilities associated with termination of a formal partnership remain subject to the applicable agreement.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, a partnership with WFDP Academy does not create an agency relationship or authorize a partner, instructor, representative or other participant to enter into obligations, make commitments or provide guarantees on behalf of WFDP Academy.
WFDP Academy may update this policy periodically to reflect developments in its educational programs, institutional partnerships and operating requirements.
WFDP Academy seeks to develop partnerships that are transparent, professionally managed and focused on meaningful educational and capacity-development outcomes.
