Certificate & Credential Policy

WFDP Academy issues certificates and other learning credentials to recognize verified participation, completion and achievement in eligible courses, programs and learning activities.

This policy establishes the principles governing the issuance, use, verification and validity of WFDP Academy certificates and credentials.

1. Eligibility for Certificates

A certificate may be issued when a learner successfully satisfies the requirements established for the relevant course or program.

Depending on the course, these requirements may include:

Enrollment in a course does not by itself guarantee the issuance of a certificate.

2. Types of Credentials

WFDP Academy may issue different forms of certificates or credentials depending on the nature of the learning activity.

These may include certificates of completion, participation, achievement or other approved learning credentials.

The title and nature of each credential should be interpreted according to the specific course or program for which it was issued.

3. Digital Certificates

WFDP Academy may issue certificates electronically through its learning platform or other authorized digital systems.

Digital certificates may include a unique identifier, QR code or other verification mechanism enabling the authenticity of the credential to be confirmed.

Learners may download or print an eligible digital certificate where this functionality is available.

4. Certificate Verification

Where verification functionality is provided, employers, institutions and other authorized parties may use the applicable verification mechanism to confirm the authenticity of a WFDP Academy credential.

A certificate should be considered authentic only where its information corresponds with the official records maintained by WFDP Academy.

5. Learner Information

Learners are responsible for ensuring that their name and relevant account information are accurate before a certificate is issued.

WFDP Academy may request appropriate supporting information before making a correction to an issued credential.

Requests for corrections should be submitted through official WFDP Academy support channels.

6. Use of Certificates and Credentials

Certificates issued by WFDP Academy may be used by learners to demonstrate successful participation, completion or achievement in the relevant learning activity.

Certificates must not be altered, falsified, manipulated or used in a misleading manner.

A certificate may not be represented as evidence of a qualification, professional license, academic degree, governmental authorization or other status unless the specific program expressly provides such recognition.

7. Institutional and Partner Programs

Certain courses or programs may be delivered in cooperation with institutions, organizations or other approved partners.

Where applicable, the relevant program information will determine the nature of the certificate, participating institutions and any additional requirements associated with its issuance.

The use of WFDP Academy’s name, logo, certificate format or credentialing system by a partner requires appropriate authorization.

8. Invalid or Fraudulent Credentials

WFDP Academy reserves the right to investigate suspected misuse, alteration, falsification or unauthorized issuance of its certificates or credentials.

A certificate or credential may be invalidated or revoked where WFDP Academy determines that it was obtained or issued as a result of:

9. Revocation

Where a certificate is revoked, WFDP Academy may update its internal or digital verification records to indicate that the credential is no longer valid.

The Academy may provide the affected learner with appropriate information concerning the decision where circumstances permit.

10. Recognition of Credentials

WFDP Academy certificates recognize learning completed under the requirements of the relevant Academy course or program.

Unless expressly stated for a particular program, issuance of a WFDP Academy certificate does not automatically constitute an academic degree, professional license, governmental accreditation or authorization to practice a regulated profession.

Learners are responsible for determining whether a particular certificate meets the requirements of an employer, educational institution, professional body or competent authority.

11. Intellectual Property and Protection

WFDP Academy certificate designs, verification mechanisms, logos, trademarks and related credentialing elements may be protected intellectual property.

Unauthorized reproduction, commercial use, modification or creation of fraudulent WFDP Academy credentials is prohibited.

12. Policy Updates

WFDP Academy may update this Certificate & Credential Policy periodically to reflect developments in its programs, credentialing systems, technology or institutional requirements.

The policy applicable to a certificate or credential may be interpreted together with the specific requirements and conditions of the relevant course or program.

WFDP Academy is committed to maintaining the integrity, reliability and credibility of the credentials issued through its learning platform.
